Week 6 Term 2

This week during maths we have been working on place value. Without having our number knowledge secure using various strategies can be difficult. We were lucky enough to have Helen to help us. When we are finished our tasks we can play maths games. Chess is a class favourite!

This week Latoya's baby sister came in for a snuggle in the warm!

For topic this term we have been looking at the Solar System. We have been making pop out books with great success. I am sure you will be wowed and surprised at our skills!

Week 5 Term 2

We have had a busy week in Room 5 with a trip to the Museum, Wheels Wednesday and our Cross Country on Friday.
On all occasions the behaviour of the children has been outstanding. At the Museum 2 separate members of the public congratulated us on our social skills and engagement in our learning.
During Cross Country the support we gave to one another was second to none.
